Encore Feather Dusting
Encore specializes in advanced feather dusting and blow-off technologies designed to remove residual particles from vehicle surfaces before primer and topcoat application. Our traditional feather dusting system follows a high-volume, high-velocity pre-blow-off, multiple feather rolls for full surface coverage, and a low-volume, low-velocity final blow-off. With our unique cantilever overhead design, operators have a full view of the process from the cleanroom. Each feather is meticulously inspected and assembled into custom-made rolls at our Auburn Hills facility to match various body styles. Our feather dusters and blow-off systems can be robot-mounted, reducing the number of feather rolls needed by utilizing the robot’s reach for efficient cleaning. Available in booth-designed or clean-wall-mounted configurations, each roll is self-cleaning through in-hood ionization bars and vacuum systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal maintenance.

Encore Blow Offs
Encore Blow Offs are used with our Feather Dusting system or can be used independently from Feather Dusting. When integrated with Feather Dusting, the system includes both Pre and Post Blow Off stages. The Pre-Blow Off system employs high-volume, high-velocity air to remove debris from the vehicle cracks and surface as the body enters. The Post-Blow Off system uses low-volume, low-velocity air to neutralize static charges left by feather dusting or wiping processes. This ensures a flawless surface for primer or topcoat applications.
