Robotics Engineer - Auburn Hills, MI

Your Role:

Implement and optimize sealant and paint booth processes for automotive manufacturing lines, ensuring proper robot path execution, material application quality and cycle time efficiency. Programming, configuring and support visionguided positioning systems for robotic applications, including calibration, troubleshooting, and production adjustments. Programming and supporting SmartFinish® systems integrated with FANUC robots to ensure accurate automated repairs on clearcoat and prime surfaces. Calibrate and setup SmartFinish® and SmartInspect® systems, to complain with the final client requirements using simulation software and programming the robots on the field. Create and validated robot simulations using FANUC Roboguide to test process feasibility, optimize robot reach and cycle time, and prevent collisions before implementation on the production floor.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, or related with 6 months experience as Robotic Engineer, or Control Engineer, or Associate, or Consultant, or related
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and robotic systems.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
