Electrical Controls Engineer - Auburn Hills, MI

Your Role:

Design and develop control panel solutions for robotic systems including pneumatic circuit design, electrical installation packages, and customer interface. Reports to the Engineering Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) preferred.
  • 2+ years of controls design experience or related internships/projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; AutoCAD Electrical and E-plan are a plus.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi PLCs and safety PLCs.
  • Knowledge of industrial Ethernet.
  • Understanding of ANSI/RIA15.06 code requirements.
  • Pneumatic circuit design experience.
  • Familiarity with NEC hazardous location codes preferred.
  • Available for travel including international.
  • Self-starter and creative problem solver.
